This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Propel new business expansion by identifying and pursuing revenue-generating avenues.
• Oversee sales pipelines and implement account strategies to secure significant enterprise-level contracts.
• Conduct both on-site and remote customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Highlight the solution’s value proposition and align it with the strategic business challenges of prospects.
• Participate in tradeshows and industry events to generate leads and cultivate relationships.
• Provide standard and tailored product demonstrations in collaboration with the Sales Engineering team.
• Address technical questions and engage with client technical teams.
• Present product architecture, customize solution discussions, and resolve technical objections.
• Work alongside sales engineers to manage and implement Proof of Concept exercises.
• Coordinate RFX responses in collaboration with sales engineers, product, and services teams.
• Partner with technical support, engineering, and service resources on solution design and client requirements.
• Report directly to the Regional VP of Sales.
• A Bachelor’s degree along with significant work experience is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or foreign equivalent) is preferred.
• A proven history of pursuing new business and meeting or surpassing annual sales quotas.
• Minimum of 8+ years of full sales cycle experience in the Computer Software Industry, with a strong focus on generating new business opportunities.
• Preferred experience includes exposure to Agentic Process Automation (APA) and/or related automation technologies (RPA, ML, AI, etc.).
• Willingness to travel 25% to 50% of the time.
• Familiarity with enterprise software architecture and technologies.
• Understanding of business process management.
• Extensive knowledge of consultative selling, encompassing prospecting, qualifying, presenting, trial closing, objection handling, and closing.
• Experience and knowledge of collaborating with channel partners such as “Big 4” advisories and leading System Integrators.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with software applications like Salesforce.
• Demonstrated technical expertise with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
