Senior 2D Animator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop exceptional 2D animations for slot and social casino functionalities.

• Animate slot symbols, user interface components, pop-ups, win screens, rewards, jackpots, feature activations, transitions, and celebratory moments.

• Transform static 2D artwork into dynamic animations while maintaining its premium visual quality and style.

• Generate motion that amplifies luxury, excitement, value, and reward.

• Set up, implement, test, and refine animations in Unity independently.

• Review animations directly within Unity and on mobile devices, adjusting timing, readability, responsiveness, and overall quality.

• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, UI Artists, Technical Artist, Game Designers, and Developers.

• Propose animation and visual enhancements to improve the player experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• A senior-level portfolio showcasing strong 2D game animation skills and exceptional visual polish.

• Extensive practical experience with Unity is essential, including the implementation of animation in real production environments.

• Significant experience in 2D game animation, preferably in slots, social casino, casino, or high-quality mobile games.

• Excellent understanding of timing, rhythm, weight, impact, easing, anticipation, and secondary motion.

• Profound knowledge of Unity animation workflows, including animation states, transitions, prefabs, and UI animation setup.

• Capability to independently carry animation from source assets through Unity implementation to final in-game refinement.

• Strong artistic sensibility regarding composition, readability, visual hierarchy, and overall quality.

• Ability to work efficiently while consistently delivering high-caliber results.

• Prior experience with slot games and familiarity with slot animation conventions is a plus.

• Experience with Spine or similar 2D animation tools and their integration with Unity is advantageous.

• Basic knowledge of Unity shaders, particles, or lightweight VFX is a plus.

• Understanding of animation optimization techniques for mobile games is beneficial.
