Semi-Senior Front-end Engineer – Entertainment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop pages and reusable components using React/Next.js for the new front-end.

• Transform designs into responsive and accessible user interfaces.

• Integrate components with headless CMS content and backend APIs.

• Create unit and component tests.

• Engage in code reviews, planning sessions, and estimations.

• Independently deliver well-defined features from ticket creation through to merged and tested code.

• Identify blockers and seek clarification as necessary.

• Utilize enterprise AI tools and assistants to aid in coding, refactoring, testing, and debugging while critically assessing their output.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in front-end engineering.

• Strong expertise in React.

• Practical experience with Next.js in production, having launched at least one Next.js project and possessing a fundamental understanding of SSR/SSG and routing.

• Proficiency in TypeScript.

• Familiarity with consuming REST or GraphQL APIs.

• Capability to build responsive and accessible UIs based on design specifications.

• Experience in writing unit and component tests, preferably using Jest and React Testing Library.

• Regular and recent usage of AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.

• Experience with headless CMS solutions.

• Knowledge of integration testing.
