Security Tech Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a subject matter expert in XDR, web proxying, and security analytics.

• Execute security-related projects aimed at safeguarding the Bank and its clientele.

• Operate at the domain level to ensure comprehensive security considerations throughout the project lifecycle and support.

• Lead projects from the initial shaping and requirements gathering through to design, delivery, and in-service adoption.

• Collaborate with feature teams and actively engage in story refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Foster innovation and strategic thinking regarding advancements in security technology.

• Base decisions on solid data, return on investment, and value assessments.

• Identify opportunities and initiate projects that lower costs and streamline operations for the bank.

• Cultivate and utilize relationships with colleagues across the bank and with external partners.

• Ensure that decisions are commercially oriented and generate long-term value for the bank.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience and knowledge of technology security controls within the security technology specialization.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working within an Agile team environment.

• Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into clear, business-oriented outcomes and recommendations.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate across the organization.

• In-depth technical knowledge of cloud, network, and infrastructure security, including development pipelines and security analytics.

• Understanding of the legal, regulatory, and risk environment pertinent to financial services and technology security.

• Experience in designing and implementing security infrastructure or security services.

• Familiarity with web proxy, XDR, SIEM, and enterprise logging and monitoring technologies.
