Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute FedRAMP High and IL4 compliance controls throughout the design and construction phases of the Landing Zone.

• Convert compliance requirements specified by architecture into technical security control settings.

• Establish and support controls utilizing Assured Workloads, VPC Service Controls, Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK), and Security Command Center (SCC).

• Assist in the final activation of security controls during the Landing Zone transition and handover phases.

• Offer technical advice to facilitate adherence to FedRAMP High and IL4 compliance standards.

• Assess infrastructures set up by Cloud Engineering and DevOps teams for compliance with security and regulatory controls.

• Guarantee that environments satisfy security criteria before receiving final approval for production activities.

• Work in conjunction with architecture, engineering, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure the correct implementation of established controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with Landing Zones in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with Assured Workloads.

• Understanding of VPC Service Controls.

• Knowledge of Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK).

• Awareness of Security Command Center (SCC).

• Experience in validating cloud infrastructure against security and compliance standards.

• Capability to convert regulatory and compliance requirements into technical control settings.

• Acquaintance with information security, vulnerability management, and cybersecurity.

• Advanced/Fluent English proficiency.

• Preferred: experience in facilitating the activation of security controls during the Landing Zone transition and handover phases.

• Preferred: experience in implementing FedRAMP High and/or IL4 compliance controls.

• Preferred: experience in regulated, high-criticality environments.

• Preferred: certifications or advanced knowledge in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) security.

• Preferred: experience in digital transformation initiatives and modernization of enterprise platforms.
