This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver technical pre-sales support to Security Sellers and territory account teams.
• Demonstrate Cisco security product solutions and arrange demonstrations.
• Articulate solution features and advantages to clients.
• Design and tailor products to meet specific customer security requirements.
• Establish relationships with key decision-makers among customers.
• Collaborate with technology experts to develop architectures and configure products.
• Oversee the technical components of pre-sales initiatives.
• Position Cisco security solutions in comparison to competing products.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies and tactics.
• Advocate for the value proposition of Cisco security architecture.
• Clarify Cisco product and business strategies.
• Generate demand to facilitate deal closure.
• Act as a subject matter expert in Cisco security solutions.
• Convert customer business needs into technical specifications.
• Comprehend and convey Cisco security architecture and services.
• Create, present, and document technical solutions.
• Provide detailed and high-level technical presentations to customers, partners, and prospects.
• Drive significant account opportunities through technical consulting, executive presentations, and Cisco technology solutions, while allowing local account teams to maintain long-term ownership.
• At least 4 years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales.
• More than 2 years of experience focusing on security.
• Familiarity with Email Security, IDS/IPS, antivirus, firewall, and Advanced Malware Protection technologies.
• Demonstrated success in managing and securing high-value IT security projects.
• Experience in administering Unix/Linux systems.
• Knowledge of low-layer, packet-level IP networking.
• Comprehensive understanding of network security.
• Expertise in Cloud and SaaS technologies.
• Experience selling to Commercial, Enterprise, and/or Service Provider accounts.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and French.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent, is highly preferred.
• Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication abilities.
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently without daily oversight.
• Experience with Cisco security technologies.
