Security Researcher – Spanish/Portuguese Speaking

📋 Description

• Monitor and gather intelligence on Latam-language-focused eCrime actors, their tools, tradecraft, and techniques across various environments, including the deep and dark web.

• Deliver distinct insights for finalized intelligence products utilized by CrowdStrike customers and stakeholders.

• Accumulate pertinent, actionable, and timely information that addresses both ongoing and ad hoc requirements concerning eCrime actors.

• Leverage engagement skills and OSINT tradecraft to pursue leads, identify eCrime threat actors, and track them within online communities.

• Recognize existing and emerging cyber threats and trends related to eCrime threat actors, particularly those that focus on Latam-language actors.

• Collaborate with analytical teams to generate reports and threat assessments on eCrime subjects.

• Utilize secure virtual operational tradecraft methods and practices.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in languages, including but not limited to, Spanish and Portuguese.

• Experience in conducting OSINT investigations utilizing Latam-language skills.

• Experience in navigating cyber threat actor environments, including social media, hidden services, and forums.

• Familiarity with a diverse range of eCrime groups.

• Practical understanding of technical terminology, tools, and tactics used by eCrime actors, especially those who are Latam-language focused.

• Demonstrated experience employing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive business results.

• Ability to swiftly adapt to changing environments and find innovative solutions to challenging problems and scenarios with determination.

• Capacity to function as part of a team, along with self-motivation to collect information independently and proactively.

• Capability to perform effectively under tight deadlines with minimal direction.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Practical experience with virtual HUMINT is highly desirable.

• A background in the intelligence community, human intelligence (HUMINT), or cyber threat intelligence is highly preferred.
