Security Partner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with leaders of business units, Security Champions, technology teams, and governance partners to convert priorities into actionable security and risk decisions.

• Oversee project security evaluations, expedited risk reviews, risk acceptances, deviations, and remediation strategies for new products, enterprise modifications, and special initiatives.

• Ensure visibility into the security risks of business units, the health of controls, metrics, dashboards, OKRs, and SLOs.

• Escalate or guide actions when risks necessitate attention.

• Provide guidance on secure data sharing, regulatory and control responsibilities, security evaluations, M&A integration, and major programs within a regulated environment.

• Relay information regarding threats, incidents, policy updates, and business-specific security needs to leadership.

• Spot opportunities for enhancing processes, automation, governance workflows, and engagement models with security partners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in information security, security risk assessment, auditing, compliance, technology risk, or related disciplines.

• Experience in cybersecurity risk management, control frameworks, and governance practices.

• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL, COBIT, and risk lifecycle methodologies.

• Practical knowledge of regulated financial services, FinTech, privacy, and security obligations, including GDPR, CCPA, FFIEC, PCI, HIPAA, FedRAMP, and breach notification requirements.

• Understanding across application security, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, secure software development, Agile delivery, AI/GenAI risk, and cutting-edge technologies.

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, or CIPP.
