Security Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Safeguard the integrity of high-value products during transit by meticulously implementing company protocols.

• Collaborate with local law enforcement, security contractors, and external partners to address security issues and improve transport safety.

• Oversee high-value freight throughout transit utilizing surveillance systems, GPS tracking, and various tools.

• Execute data entry and verify critical Security Operations milestones, such as departure, arrival, and PODs, utilizing McLeod and other systems.

• Upload temperature logs, images, PODs, and other documentation to load documents and customer portals for billing purposes.

• Perform thorough risk assessments for every shipment.

• Manage escalations involving suspicious activities related to customer freight.

• Update customer portals in accordance with client specifications.

• Participate in mandatory training and staff meetings.

• Ensure a secure working environment while adhering to company policies and procedures.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency is essential.

• A college degree in supply chain management is preferred.

• A minimum of three years' experience in security and compliance or customer service.

• At least three years of experience in logistics.

• Familiarity with TSA and GDP practices is preferred.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.

• In-depth knowledge of the supply chain industry, including regulations and client requirements.

• Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Experience in conflict resolution.

• Demonstrates emotional intelligence.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams.

• Analytical mindset for problem-solving.

• Self-assured, self-motivated, extroverted, adaptable, and capable of working independently within a team-oriented setting.

• Ability to comprehend and communicate drivers’ temperature needs, mileage, and hours of service during transit.
