Security Infrastructure & Operations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, execution, and administration of security policies, procedures, and technologies safeguarding LogicSource's digital and physical assets.

• Evaluate, identify, and prioritize security risks, implementing appropriate vulnerability controls.

• Create and maintain incident response strategies.

• Direct investigations of security breaches and manage responses to security incidents and data leaks.

• Ensure adherence to regulations, industry standards such as SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO 27001, as well as established security best practices.

• Develop an employee security awareness initiative.

• Spearhead the design and rollout of a resilient, scalable, and highly available IT infrastructure.

• Supervise AWS cloud environments to ensure cost efficiency, effectiveness, and security.

• Provide support and management for Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 collaborative platforms.

• Guarantee network security, performance, and optimization, including managing firewalls and VPNs.

• Formulate and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

• Enhance operational processes to ensure system and service availability.

• Deploy monitoring tools and dashboards, utilizing metrics to enhance operational performance.

• Lead the automation of deployments, updates, and scalability efforts.

• Manage vendors related to infrastructure, security, and operations, including the outsourced MSP.

• Collaborate with engineering, platform/product, data & AI, legal, and other teams.

• Communicate system performance, security status, incidents, and improvements to the CTO and stakeholders.

• Oversee infrastructure, security, and operations budgets, optimizing costs effectively.

• Report directly to the CTO.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure and cloud operations; AWS experience is preferred.

• Proficient in capacity planning, change management, incident management, and managing third-party vendors.

• Familiarity with monitoring, reliability, automation, and DevOps practices.

• Experience in strategizing for infrastructure and operations.

• Background in managing multimillion-dollar infrastructure budgets.

• Demonstrated capability in leading significant modernization projects.

• Understanding of security strategy, risk assessment, vulnerability controls, incident response, and compliance.

• Knowledge of scalable, highly available IT infrastructure, networks, databases, and cloud systems.

• Proficient in collaboration platforms like Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.

• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and network security protocols.

• Ability to develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans effectively.

• Competence in managing external vendors and service providers.

• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, platform/product, data & AI, legal, and other functional teams.

• Must possess authorization to work in the United States.
