Security Engineer – Outside IR35

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and support to a newly established technology team throughout a carve-out project.

• Oversee and implement security capabilities encompassing endpoint security, network security, cloud security, attack surface management, AI security, and governance.

• Offer specialized knowledge in endpoint security, particularly utilizing Cortex XDR.

• Provide recommendations on Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and Strata Cloud Manager firewalls.

• Assist with cloud security and attack surface management through Cortex Cloud and Cortex ASM.

• Collaborate on AI-driven security technologies, focusing on Palo AI Security.

• Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) systems.

• Supervise identity and access management tools, including Purview, SailPoint, and Delinea PAM.

• Manage certificate administration and associated applications.

• Utilize ServiceNow GRC for governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.

• Provide advisory and support services to the technology team.

• Maintain a strong security posture across endpoint, network, cloud, AI, and governance areas.

• Create documentation and reports related to security standards and compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Located in the UK.

• Expertise in Cortex XDR for endpoint protection.

• Experience with Prisma Access for network security.

• Knowledge of SIEM solutions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and SailPoint for identity and access management.

• Experience with Delinea PAM for privileged access management.

• Comprehensive understanding of security frameworks and governance tools.

• Extensive knowledge of modern security technologies and cloud environments.
