This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Develop, implement, assess, and enhance Conditional Access policies across various contexts including user, device, application, location, risk, and session.
• Engineer, fine-tune, and manage policies and anomaly detections to elevate signal quality, visibility, and enterprise security monitoring.
• Oversee and operationalize risk-based controls for situations such as impossible travel, high-risk users, and questionable sign-ins.
• Take ownership of the MFA strategy and its enforcement, incorporating phishing-resistant authentication methods.
• Integrate identity and access controls across Entra, Defender, and Purview platforms.
• Evaluate policy coverage, exclusions, break-glass scenarios, trusted network/device assumptions, and session controls.
• Analyze identity risk signals to identify necessary tuning, remediation, or escalation actions.
• Fine-tune policies and anomaly detections for Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Manage operational tickets, policy revisions, security evaluations, and escalations pertaining to identity, access, MFA, and mobile access controls.
• Collaborate with MWT Security Services engineers, endpoint management, SOC/security operations, as well as audit and compliance stakeholders.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Identity Protection.
• Practical experience in engineering and maintaining policies and anomaly detections for Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview Information Protection and data classification concepts.
• Experience with Android and iOS MDM/MAM security controls, preferably leveraging Microsoft Intune.
• Capacity to translate risk, audit, and compliance requirements into enforceable technical controls.
• Strong skills in documentation, communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to interpret and adhere to written IT policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of security monitoring, incident response handoffs, and evidence collection practices.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
