This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Manage and secure endpoints, including MDM/Intune, patch management, encryption, and ensuring device compliance.
• Deliver practical desktop support and assist with device-related issues as necessary.
• Oversee daily identity and access management tasks, including joiner/mover/leaver workflows, least-privilege access policies, and quarterly access reviews across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, GCP, and other SaaS applications.
• Monitor security alerts and logs, escalate issues promptly, and assist in the investigation and documentation of security incidents.
• Aid in the collection of compliance evidence in Vanta for SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001.
• Compile evidence for vendor and customer security questionnaires and identify escalation requirements.
• Recognize and implement enhancements to monitoring, alerting, and access controls within cloud and endpoint tools.
• Collaborate directly with the Head of Security & Trust and evolve towards responsibilities in audit, compliance, and vendor risk management.
• Achieve key performance indicators related to access and joiner/mover/leaver service level agreements, endpoint compliance, incident resolution, and evidence quality.
• Experience in desktop support, IT systems administration, or a comparable technical operations role, transitioning into (or already engaged in) blended IT/security work.
• Practical experience with endpoint management (Intune or similar MDM) and administration of Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals (GCP, AWS, or Azure IAM).
• Some familiarity with compliance or audit evidence collection (Vanta or similar) is advantageous, but not obligatory.
• A security certification such as CompTIA Security+, ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, or Microsoft SC-900 — or demonstrable self-directed learning if not yet certified.
• A genuinely helpful and practical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to convey technical issues clearly to non-technical team members.
