Security Consultant – SD-WAN Telematics Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Act as a consultant with expertise in telematics network security.

• Design and enhance security architectures for corporate settings and telematics networks.

• Create protection strategies for LAN, WAN, WLAN, data center, and cloud environments.

• Assist in modernizing network infrastructure and security projects.

• Perform security assessments and conduct risk analyses.

• Formulate security policies, standards, and guidelines.

• Execute vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Act as a technical authority during critical security incidents.

• Engage in internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with corporate security frameworks and controls.

• Provide guidance to technical teams on network and cybersecurity best practices.

• Prepare executive reports for management and leadership teams.

• Support business decision-making and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging advanced technical expertise with a consultative approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• ITIL® 4 Foundation certification is mandatory.

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is essential.

• Familiarity with IT service management.

• Understanding of incident management.

• Knowledge of problem management.

• Awareness of change management.

• Commitment to continual improvement practices.

• Insight into governance and value delivery.

• Demonstrated knowledge in Security and Risk Management.

• Established understanding of Asset Security.

• Proven expertise in Security Architecture and Engineering.

• Solid knowledge of Communication and Network Security.

• Proficient in Identity and Access Management.

• Experienced in Security Assessment and Testing.

• Familiar with Security Operations.

• Knowledgeable in Software Development Security.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies.

• At least 4 years of experience analyzing network and server infrastructure for business applications.

• 2 years of experience in cloud computing environments.

• A postgraduate degree or MBA in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Networks, or IT Governance is preferred.
