Penetration Testing Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct client scoping calls to gather requirements, timelines, and target environments.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.

• Oversee project timelines and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

• Respond to inquiries regarding testing strategies, findings, and remediation recommendations.

• Coordinate internal resources and keep stakeholders informed about project status.

• Organize kickoff meetings, status updates, and closeout discussions.

• Manage access provisioning, scheduling, and documentation tasks.

• Collect and structure pre-engagement information, including IP ranges, credentials, and engagement rules.

• Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns in a prompt and professional manner.

• Support quality assurance procedures to maintain consistent standards for deliverables.

• Assist penetration testers on complex projects and manage escalated technical issues as required.

• Stay updated on new threats, vulnerabilities, and testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in penetration testing, security assessments, or a similar cybersecurity role.

• Previous experience in client-facing roles or customer service is preferred.

• Knowledge of networking principles.

• Familiarity with operating systems and command line interfaces.

• Basic understanding of web application technologies and common attack vectors.

• Ability to read and comprehend basic code.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Professional demeanor with excellent client interaction skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with outstanding time management skills.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working independently.
