Security Consultant – SD-WAN Telecommunications Networks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Serve as a specialized consultant in Telecommunications Network Security.

• Establish and advance security architectures for corporate settings and telecommunications networks.

• Create protective strategies for LAN, WAN, WLAN, data centers, and cloud environments.

• Assist in modernizing network infrastructure and security projects.

• Perform security evaluations and risk assessments.

• Formulate security policies, standards, and guidelines.

• Execute vulnerability assessments and propose mitigation strategies.

• Act as a technical resource for critical security incidents.

• Engage in both internal and external audits.

• Ensure adherence to corporate security frameworks and controls.

• Advise technical teams on best practices in network and cybersecurity.

• Compile executive reports for management and leadership.

• Assist in business decisions and digital transformation efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• ITIL® 4 Foundation certification.

• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.

• Familiarity with IT service management.

• Knowledge of incident management.

• Understanding of problem management.

• Knowledge of change management.

• Awareness of continual improvement processes.

• Understanding of governance and value delivery.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Security and Risk Management.

• Proven expertise in Asset Security.

• Established knowledge in Security Architecture and Engineering.

• Proven understanding of Communication and Network Security.

• Demonstrated knowledge in Identity and Access Management.

• Proven skills in Security Assessment and Testing.

• Established knowledge in Security Operations.

• Proven expertise in Software Development Security.

• 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies.

• 4 years of experience analyzing network and server infrastructure for business applications.

• 2 years of experience in cloud computing environments.

• Postgraduate degree or MBA in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Networks, or IT Governance (preferred).
