Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments, encompassing cloud environments, Zero Trust principles, and contemporary attack vectors.

• Create and execute security concepts, architectures, and actionable plans.

• Assist in preparing tailored client proposals, from evaluating technical feasibility to establishing the business case.

• Influence forward-looking security initiatives such as Cloud Security, Secure by Design, AI-driven threat detection, and the ongoing enhancement of the ISMS in compliance with ISO 27001.

• Provide guidance and support to mid-sized and large enterprises in crafting and implementing bespoke security solutions.

• Work in collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Product Management teams.

• Engage in dynamic and diverse projects for esteemed corporate clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree from a university of applied sciences or a university in Computer Science, IT Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in IT security consulting, security assessments, or client-oriented security projects.

• Proficient in German and possess good English language skills (C1 level), both written and spoken.

• At least one recognized security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GIAC GSEC, CEH, CompTIA CySA+, Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, or equivalent; CISM/CISA).

• Possession of advanced or strategic certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, GIAC, GCIH, GCFA, GPEN).

• Practical experience with cloud security platforms (AWS Security, Azure Security, Google Cloud Security).

• Understanding of Zero Trust architectures, SIEM/SOAR, vulnerability management, penetration testing, or DevSecOps.

• Initial experience in leading security projects or sub-projects.

• Capable of conveying complex technical subjects clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders and specialized departments.
