Security Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance automated security assurance workflows

• Optimize the collection, processing, and analysis of security evidence across technical systems

• Strengthen audit readiness and control visibility

• Improve access reviews, control testing, exception tracking, and risk assessments through technical automation

• Enhance the quality, traceability, and accessibility of security and compliance data

• Implement established security and compliance frameworks within assurance processes

• Discover opportunities to incorporate AI-driven capabilities into assurance workflows

• Augment Chainlink’s security assurance capabilities through technical analysis, automation, and compliance frameworks

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, security assurance, technology risk, or technical compliance

• Practical experience in developing scripts and automations using Python or a similar programming language

• Proficiency in working with APIs, JSON, Git, and structured datasets

• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or CIS Controls

• Experience with enterprise security and compliance platforms like GitHub, Okta, Wiz, Splunk, Jamf, or Anecdotes preferred

• Background in building or enhancing automated assurance workflows preferred

• Experience in integrating AI tools into security assurance or engineering workflows preferred

• Previous exposure to blockchain, Web3, fintech, financial services, or highly regulated technology environments preferred

• Understanding of threat modeling, application security, software supply-chain security, or incident response preferred

• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CISA, CCSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor preferred

• Must legally reside and possess work authorization in the specified location

• Must maintain primary residence in that location throughout the duration of employment

• Must work hours that overlap with Eastern Time unless otherwise specified
