Security Architect, Cybersecurity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluate solution concepts, architectures, and technical documentation to pinpoint relevant security standards, risks, and necessary controls.

• Carry out Security Architecture Reviews, Cloud Security Assessments, and Vendor Security Assessments.

• Analyze solutions concerning IAM, network architecture and segmentation, authentication and authorization, encryption and data protection, logging and monitoring, as well as security controls and risk management.

• Review firewall, proxy, server internet access, and connectivity-related requests, taking into account business needs, communication flows, security controls, monitoring, and data processing considerations.

• Offer clear, actionable security recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Develop architecture review reports and security assessment documentation.

• Assist in security governance activities by providing advice on security standards, policies, and best practices.

• Work collaboratively with project teams to implement and enhance secure architecture patterns.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of security review methodologies, assessment frameworks, and documentation standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience in Cyber Security and Security Architecture.

• Practical experience conducting security architecture assessments and reviews.

• Background in Cloud Security Assessments and security risk analysis.

• Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM), Network Security, Network Segmentation, Authentication and Authorization, Encryption and Data Protection, and Security Logging and Monitoring.

• Familiarity with security standards, frameworks, controls, and governance principles.

• Experience in evaluating connectivity and infrastructure security requirements, including firewall, proxy, and internet access scenarios.

• Capability to translate technical security findings into business-oriented recommendations.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation abilities.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams.

• Proficiency in the German language (preferred).

• Experience in international and multinational work environments (preferred).

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF, Azure Security Engineer, AWS Security Specialty, or equivalent (preferred).

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools in daily workflows (preferred).
