Security Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Participate in significant network and attack-related incidents for Akamai's managed security clients

• Detect real-time cyber threats

• Formulate and implement mitigation strategies while minimizing negative effects on end users

• Design and execute mitigation plans utilizing Akamai products and platform

• Conduct advanced analysis to uncover attacks and threats to customers' digital assets and/or business networks

• Communicate with clients regarding issues, updates, and outcomes of mitigation and analysis efforts

• Drive innovation in tooling development and product improvements

• Champion customer-centricity throughout daily operations and incident management

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry, specifically in networking, Akamai Platform, or web application security

• Outstanding customer-facing abilities

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking principles, including TCP, IP, and UDP

• Familiarity with internet operations, including DNS, HTTP, and IP protocols

• Awareness of the OWASP Top 10 and its implications for internet service vulnerabilities and attacks

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities

• Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills

• Enthusiasm and capacity to learn new tools and technologies

• Strong problem-solving aptitude
