Security Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, oversee, and assess authentication methods, conditional access policies, risk policies, permissions, and onboarding/offboarding processes.

• Manage device management policies, which include secure configurations, patch management, antivirus solutions, and security agent configuration and reporting.

• Track and report on organizational compliance while addressing vulnerabilities, threats, and cyber activities.

• Evaluate, investigate, and document security alerts, enhancing alert systems to minimize false positives and reduce unnecessary noise.

• Set up and manage tools for device management, antivirus, SIEM, and intrusion detection and response.

• Develop or source security training materials, organize and oversee training sessions, and produce training reports for documentation purposes.

• Address inquiries from end-users and help desk personnel regarding security technologies.

• Resolve deployment and management challenges related to security tools in cloud environments and on endpoints.

• Utilize AI tools and AI-fueled workflows for security analysis, automation, threat detection, investigation, and daily security operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information security, or a related discipline.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Practical experience with AI tools or AI-enabled workflows in cybersecurity is preferred.

• A proven interest and enthusiasm for discovering practical and responsible applications of AI to enhance security operations is preferred.

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or others are a plus.

• A cellphone or personal device to receive MFA texts or calls.

• An internet connection capable of supporting the job, with a minimum speed of 10Mbps download.

• Must reside within the United States.

• Must not require any type of visa sponsorship.
