This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Advanced Routing for managed file transfers.
β’ Create and implement Advanced Routing workflows that adhere to partner-specific policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
β’ Model and configure routing decisions for intricate partner ecosystems, incorporating conditional logic and error handling.
β’ Ensure routing integrity, conduct test transfers, and document routing controls and escalation procedures.
β’ Address Tier-3 issues across operating system, network, and Secure Transport application layers.
β’ Lead root-cause analysis and resolution efforts.
β’ Create scripts for log parsing, certificate validation, and routing verification.
β’ Establish and maintain partner and configuration objects.
β’ Oversee certificate and key rotation timelines.
β’ Collaborate with application, security, and network teams.
β’ Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding routing implications, partner onboarding standards, and security considerations.
β’ Implement and optimize monitoring and alerting for routing workflows, partner failures, certificate expirations, and transfer health.
β’ Author and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and knowledge articles.
β’ Assist with audit, compliance, and vulnerability remediation tasks related to Secure Transport routing and partner configurations.
β’ Function within a highly regulated, mission-critical setting.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in administering Axway Secure Transport in a production environment.
β’ More than 5 years of Linux/RHEL system administration experience.
β’ At least 3 years of experience in designing and supporting Advanced Routing.
β’ A minimum of 3 years in Tier-3 operational troubleshooting across Secure Transport protocols and routing decisions.
β’ Over 3 years of enterprise security experience with SSH/PKI/PGP, TLS, and certificates.
β’ Practical engineering experience with Axway Secure Transport.
β’ Proficiency in Axway Secure Transport versions 5.5-2026x on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
β’ Familiarity with Secure Transport architecture, deployment, administration, Advanced Routing, SFTP/SSH, HTTPS/TLS, FTPS, PGP/GPG, networking, IAM/RBAC, monitoring, certificates, and security hardening.
β’ Capability to develop lightweight operational scripts.
β’ Ability to create and manage users, roles, routes, policies, certificates, and keys.
β’ Skill in producing technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
β’ Relevant certifications in Linux, security, or Axway are advantageous.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
β’ Participation in an on-call rotation for mission-critical transfers is required.
