Section Chief – Breast Imaging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support the Medical Director of Breast Imaging in overseeing the breast radiologist team.

• Play a key role in strategic recruitment, clinical mentorship, and enhancing team engagement.

• Manage quality assurance programs specific to subspecialties, ensuring compliance with MQSA, EQUIP processes, and conducting peer reviews.

• Oversee site-level operations and foster relationships for remote diagnostic programs.

• Ensure diagnostic quality, optimize workflows, and address operational challenges.

• Act as a clinical subject-matter expert during meetings with prospective clients and discussions with partner health systems.

• Balance responsibilities between clinical diagnostic readings and section leadership, along with administrative oversight and enterprise quality initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO, eligible to practice medicine in the United States.

• ABR or AOBR board-certified radiologist with fellowship training in Breast Imaging.

• More than 5 years of post-training clinical experience in high-volume breast imaging.

• Proficient in 3D digital breast tomosynthesis, diagnostic ultrasound, and breast MRI.

• Must hold an unrestricted active license in at least one U.S. state.

• Capability and willingness to acquire additional state licenses.
