Seasonal Video Editor – VFX, AE Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Create and implement visual effects, motion graphics, and animated components for both short-form and long-form social media content, which includes game highlights, promotional content, partner and campaign materials, as well as sponsor integrations.

• Develop and sustain reusable After Effects templates, title cards, lower thirds, and effect packages.

• Collaborate with social media, branding, and partnerships teams to ensure all assets adhere to brand standards and meet partner/sponsor criteria.

• Enhance raw footage through color correction, compositing, and effects work across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and others.

• Work alongside Content Producers and the Social team on effects-driven projects from the pre-production stage through to post-production.

• Oversee multiple projects and rapid requests in a dynamic, real-time sports content setting.

• Systematically organize created assets, project files, and maintain version control within asset and archive systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of video editing experience.

• A portfolio showcasing exceptional VFX/motion graphics work that goes beyond narrative and storytelling editing.

• Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects (mandatory).

• Proficiency in various video editing software is highly regarded, including Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut Pro.

• Experience in developing reusable motion graphic templates and effects systems that can scale across a content calendar.

• Capability to interpret brand guidelines into visually compelling work.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to respond promptly in a remote working environment.

• Familiarity with different file types and the ability to convert file types as required.

• Background in sports, live events, or fast-paced social-first content environments is a plus.
