Seasonal 1099 Virtual Urgent Care Physician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver real-time medical consultations utilizing video, phone, or chat platforms.

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage non-emergency medical conditions from a distance.

• Prescribe medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards.

• Precisely document patient interactions in electronic health records.

• Inform patients about self-care, preventive strategies, and treatment options.

• Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

• Assist in upholding clinical guidelines and standard operating procedures.

• Provide high-quality, patient-focused acute care and ensure exceptional patient experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification in family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or a related discipline.

• Active medical license (MD, DO) in the applicable state(s).

• Multi-state licensure is preferred; Compact State participation is advantageous.

• At least 5 years of post-residency experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or primary care.

• Previous telehealth experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is preferred.

• Competence with telemedicine technologies and electronic health records.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Commitment and readiness to work in a seasonal role until April 1, 2027.
