Scrum Master

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Oversee Agile execution utilizing Scrum methodologies, ensuring effective ceremonies and ongoing improvements in delivery.

• Assist multiple Scrum teams concurrently by promoting Agile best practices.

• Drive project delivery through careful planning, resource management, and execution within defined scope and timelines.

• Identify and mitigate team conflicts, impediments hindering progress, and associated risks.

• Monitor and relay sprint metrics, velocity, and delivery status to stakeholders.

• Cultivate accountability, feedback, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within teams.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and business leaders to ensure sprint objectives align with strategic priorities.

• Manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and coordination within a scaled Agile framework.

• Advocate for a safe, engaged, and high-performing team atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of direct experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile delivery setting.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.

• Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership capabilities.

• Scrum Master Certification is required.

• Proficient in Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

• SAFe certification (SAFe SM or SAFe Agilist) is preferred.
