• Provide scientific leadership, direction, and oversight for all projects related to assigned accounts.
• Analyze and synthesize complex scientific data into impactful publications, educational resources, and brand strategies.
• Offer strategic scientific and publication oversight across various accounts.
• Evaluate content for scientific precision and alignment with client preferences.
• Train and give constructive feedback to internal team members.
• Create original content, including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and slide presentations.
• Recognize emerging scientific trends and keep account teams updated.
• Direct strategic account development and provide scientific guidance to clients and internal teams.
• Assist in identifying and converting new business opportunities.
• Lead scientific strategies and publication planning, overseeing scientifically intricate materials.
• Act as a subject matter expert on scientific and clinical aspects of client projects and deliverables.
• Review deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations.
• Guarantee the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Keep leadership updated on critical client and project developments and concerns.
• Support strategic and tactical client and project planning.
• Attend and facilitate client status meetings, project kick-offs, and debrief sessions.
• Review project reports and notify teams of emerging trends and changes in clinical data.
• Enhance Citrus Health Group’s scientific reputation with clients.
• Maintain strong partnerships with clients, key experts, and external collaborators.
• Communicate with authors and clients regarding project status and modifications.
• Participate in client presentations.
• Anticipate and address author/client inquiries.
• Assist in the development of proposals and pitches with scientific insights.
• Advanced degree in the life sciences; PhD, MD, or PharmD required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical communications agency sector.
• Proven experience in managing publication-heavy accounts and reviewing content produced by junior writers.
• Knowledge of product life cycles, competitive landscapes, and the significance of publications in clients’ medical and commercial strategies.
• Ability to translate complex data into effective presentation formats.
• Strong comprehension of clinical research and analyses.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Capability to identify key issues and creatively and strategically navigate challenges.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
• Proficient analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Outstanding presentation skills across various formats and audiences.
• Ability to meet allocated deadlines and specifications.
• Familiarity with good publication practices and relevant compliance requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, with capability to create well-designed and impactful presentations.
