This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
β’ Support the scheduling and operations of the contact center.
β’ Respond to incoming calls to arrange appointments for both new and returning patients across all locations.
β’ Gather and record patient medical histories in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
β’ Offer extensive administrative and patient support utilizing advanced virtual technologies.
β’ Provide prompt and precise information, scheduling, and assistance.
β’ Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in a virtual setting.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as needed as requirements change.
β’ A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
β’ Healthcare-specific training is preferred, but not mandatory.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
β’ A friendly, courteous, and professional attitude.
β’ Demonstrated empathy and a compassionate approach towards patients.
β’ Self-driven and detail-oriented.
β’ Capability to work independently.
β’ Must maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with US HIPAA laws and other applicable regulations.
β’ A reliable high-speed internet connection is necessary.
β’ A quiet and private workspace is required.
β’ Must reside in Alabama or Mississippi.
β’ Availability for full-time work from Monday to Friday, 10:30 am to 6:30 pm CST, with one Saturday every eight weeks from 6:45 am to 12:30 pm CST.
β’ Derick Dermatology will supply the necessary work-from-home equipment, including a secure laptop, monitor, headset, and webcam (equipment varies by job function).
