This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Schedule, cancel, and reschedule outpatient visits and procedures across various ambulatory clinics.
• Gather all essential information for the preparation of scheduling and registration.
• Obtain and verify patient guarantor details at least once a year.
• Generate referrals as necessary and keep patient records current.
• Schedule and register patients following scheduling protocols and medical appropriateness.
• Identify and communicate any necessary scheduling changes and development needs.
• Inform relevant personnel about scheduling adjustments due to cancellations.
• Address patient and staff inquiries and concerns, involving supervisors and patient representatives when necessary.
• Consult with referring physician offices to acquire and verify comprehensive written or electronic orders.
• Complete Workques and daily tasks in the scheduling area.
• Respond to patient communications in a timely manner.
• Escalate urgent matters to the appropriate area of responsibility.
• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• Completion of a state criminal background check and federal checks (if applicable), as required for regulated areas.
• Capability to sit for extended durations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to work 40 scheduled hours each week.
