SAPUI5, SAP Fiori

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and develop entirely custom Fiori applications utilizing Freestyle SAPUI5.

• Utilize MVC architecture, XML views, controllers, custom controls, fragments, routing/navigation, i18n, and OData/JSON model data binding.

• Implement responsive design principles in SAPUI5, optimize performance, manage error handling, and ensure compliance with Fiori design guidelines.

• Create Fiori Elements applications employing List Report and Object Page floorplans, as well as CDS UI annotations, local annotations, and the Flexible Programming Model.

• Engage with the RAP framework, which includes CDS views, behavior definitions and implementations, and binding to OData V2 services.

• Analyze, utilize, and transition legacy SAP Gateway OData V2 services that were developed using SEGW.

• Extend existing standard SAP Fiori applications via adaptation projects, extension points, and key-user adaptations.

• Set up SAP BTP Work Zone/Launchpad catalogs, groups/spaces/pages, target mappings, and business roles for external users.

• Deploy Fiori applications using BAS/VS Code, manage transports, and adjust namespaces/App IDs to align with both source and target conventions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Freestyle SAPUI5 development of fully custom Fiori apps (5 objects), incorporating MVC architecture, XML views, controllers, custom controls, fragments, routing/navigation, i18n, and data binding with OData and JSON models.

• Knowledge of SAPUI5 best practices, including responsive design (sap.m, sap.f), performance optimization, error handling, and adherence to Fiori design guidelines.

• Experience with Fiori Elements, particularly List Report / Object Page floorplans, as well as annotations (CDS UI annotations and local annotation files) and the Flexible Programming Model.

• Familiarity with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), including CDS views, behavior definitions and implementations, and OData V2 service binding.

• Expertise in SAP Gateway OData V2 (SEGW) for legacy services, with the ability to analyze and migrate existing services.

• Knowledge of Fiori App Extensions for standard SAP applications, including adaptation projects, extension points, and key-user adaptations.

• Experience in configuring SAP BTP Work Zone / Launchpad, including catalogs, groups/spaces/pages, target mappings, and business roles for external users.

• Proficient in deploying Fiori apps through BAS/VS Code, managing transport requests, and realigning namespaces/App IDs between source and target conventions.
