SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout phases

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with business stakeholders

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, legal requirements, and documentation against the global template

• Develop SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA while maintaining the global standard

• Address freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement

• Create integration across S/4HANA logistics, including SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO processes

• Oversee carrier connectivity, EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status communication

• Generate functional specifications for the development team

• Collaborate with integration, development, and testing leads

• Organize testing and address defects during integration and user acceptance testing

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and transition to support for each rollout phase

• Incorporate rollout insights back into the global template

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in SAP logistics, specifically with SAP TM on S/4HANA as a primary focus

• Participation in at least one TM rollout or global template program for a manufacturing organization

• Experience in conducting fit-gap analysis and solution design beyond mere configuration

• Proficient understanding of TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO

• Capability to lead workshops with business users and convert requirements into designs and specifications

• Ability to work remotely across countries within a multi-company program team

• Proficiency in English

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory

• Experience with embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not required

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is advantageous but not essential

• Experience in multimodal, international, or hazardous goods transportation is beneficial but not essential

• SAP TM certification is advantageous but not required
