SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions in collaboration with the business.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, legal requirements, and documentation needs against the global design.

• Create solutions while maintaining adherence to the global template standard.

• Oversee the design throughout the phases of build, testing, cutover, and early post-go-live support.

• Develop TM processes on S/4HANA, covering freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Ensure integration of TM within the S/4HANA logistics chain, including sales orders and deliveries, purchasing flows, warehouse execution, and freight costs through finance.

• Manage carrier connectivity, including EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status messages.

• Generate functional specifications for the build team, working alongside integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and resolve issues through integration and user acceptance testing.

• Lead cutover, hypercare, and the transition to support for each rollout wave.

• Incorporate lessons learned from each wave back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years in SAP logistics, with a focus on SAP TM on S/4HANA.

• Experience with at least one TM rollout or global template program for a manufacturing organization.

• Hands-on experience in fit-gap analysis and solution design, beyond mere configuration.

• Proficient understanding of TM integrations with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience facilitating business-user workshops and transforming requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work remotely across various countries within a multi-company program team.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not essential.

• Experience in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.

• Knowledge of multimodal, international, or dangerous goods transport is beneficial but not essential.

• SAP TM certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Proficiency in English is required.

• Consultants must be located in Spain.
