SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout waves.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carrier, legal, and documentation requirements in relation to the global design.

• Develop SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA while maintaining the global standard.

• Assist with freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Integrate TM within S/4HANA logistics, involving sales orders, deliveries, purchasing, warehouse execution, and finance.

• Oversee carrier connectivity, EDI or business network onboarding, tracking, and carrier status messages.

• Create functional specifications for the development team in collaboration with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Organize testing and address defects through integration and user acceptance testing.

• Support cutover, hypercare, and handover processes for each rollout wave.

• Provide feedback on rollout lessons to enhance the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP logistics, with SAP TM on S/4HANA as a fundamental component.

• At least one TM rollout or global template program experience within a manufacturing setting.

• Direct involvement in fit-gap analysis and solution design, not limited to configuration.

• Proficient knowledge of TM integration with SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• Experience facilitating workshops with business users and converting requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work remotely across multiple countries in a multi-company program team.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not essential.

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is a plus but not required.

• Experience in multimodal, international, or hazardous materials transport is helpful but not necessary.

• SAP TM certification is a plus but not mandatory.

• Proficient in the English language.
