SAP TM S/4HANA Rollout Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the SAP TM solution for designated rollout phases.

• Conduct fit-to-standard sessions with business stakeholders.

• Evaluate local transportation practices, carriers, and legal and document requirements against the global framework.

• Develop SAP TM solutions on S/4HANA while maintaining the global standard.

• Address freight planning, carrier selection and tendering, freight order execution, charge calculation, and freight settlement.

• Integrate TM within the S/4HANA logistics ecosystem, encompassing SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO processes.

• Onboard carriers via EDI or business networks and oversee tracking and carrier status messaging.

• Create functional specifications for the development team in collaboration with integration, development, and testing leads.

• Plan testing phases and address defects during integration and user acceptance testing.

• Lead the cutover, hypercare, and transition to support for each rollout phase.

• Incorporate insights from each phase back into the global template.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in SAP logistics, with SAP TM on S/4HANA being a central component.

• Experience with at least one TM rollout or global template program in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven ability to perform fit-gap analysis and independently design solutions, beyond mere configuration.

• Familiarity with TM integration involving SD, MM, EWM, and FI/CO.

• History of facilitating workshops with business users and translating their requirements into designs and specifications.

• Ability to work comfortably in a remote setting across different countries within a multi-company program team.

• Proficiency in the English language.

• Familiarity with SAP Business Network for Logistics or a carrier visibility platform is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Experience with both embedded and side-by-side TM deployments is beneficial but not essential.

• Background in automotive, industrial, or process manufacturing is a plus but not required.

• Experience in multimodal, international, or dangerous goods transport is helpful but not crucial.

• SAP TM certification is a plus but not necessary.
