SAP Support Consultant – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as the main liaison for customers concerning SAP application support, particularly in Finance.

• Receive, evaluate, and manage support requests and incident reports through the ticketing system.

• Guarantee consistent, high-quality daily SAP operational support for customers.

• Investigate incidents, change requests, and error messages within finance processes.

• Replicate, assess, and resolve issues permanently in customer systems.

• Collaborate with and coordinate internal subject-matter experts and SAP on more complicated issues.

• Keep thorough documentation of solutions, workarounds, known errors, and process documentation.

• Provide assistance for and support related SAP modules within the support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent training, along with a robust understanding of business processes.

• Several years of experience in SAP Finance, preferably with a focus on SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including configuration in the FI, CO, and AA modules, and ideally related modules such as SD, MM, and PP.

• Experience in SAP application support and familiarity with ticketing systems.

• Analytical, solution-oriented, and customer-centric approach.

• Independent, organized, and dependable work habits.

• Strong team player who performs effectively under pressure.

• Enthusiasm for operational support and engaging with customers.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
