This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide financial leadership for cost-of-revenue functions, encompassing Customer Care, Manufacturing, Cost Accounting, Clinical Operations, Quality & Regulatory, as well as sales and operations planning.
• Establish strategy, vision, and direction for key cost-of-revenue and operational functions.
• Counsel executive leaders on operational strategy, choices of operating models, risk assessment, and long-term value generation.
• Manage long-range planning, annual budgeting, monthly and quarterly forecasting, along with performance management.
• Transform and strategically position the operations finance and cost-accounting organization for future expansion.
• Attract and nurture talent, define accountability, and cultivate a high-performing finance team.
• Provide direct oversight and leadership in cost accounting.
• Enhance close execution, standard costing, inventory accounting, reconciliations, controls, documentation, analytics, and foster business partnerships.
• Collaborate with Finance leadership, Accounting, Internal Audit, and external auditors regarding inventory and cost-of-revenue controls.
• Drive integration of acquired businesses into operations and cost-of-revenue functions.
• Develop scalable operations finance and cost-of-revenue capabilities for new adjacent opportunities.
• Fortify sales and operations planning by linking demand, capacity, labor, inventory, supply, service levels, and financial outcomes.
• Create models, dashboards, and operational metrics that connect business activity to costs, capacity, productivity, and gross-margin results.
• Identify, prioritize, and monitor initiatives focused on productivity, sourcing, automation, network optimization, and process enhancement.
• Analyze actual results, forecast variances, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
• Actively engage in models, data, close issues, integrations, and special projects.
• Sponsor cross-functional enterprise opportunities and align executive stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; or 12 years with a Master’s degree; or equivalent experience.
• At least 7-10 years in leadership roles, demonstrating success in building, stabilizing, and developing high-performing finance teams.
• Extensive knowledge in cost accounting and operational finance, including inventory, standard costs, manufacturing variances, cost of revenue, close processes, and associated controls.
• Proven experience providing strategic financial leadership in complex manufacturing and operational settings.
• Leadership experience in finance organizations within regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare services, medtech, or similar healthcare settings.
• Experience in public-company leadership, including collaboration with internal and external auditors and managing SOX-compliant processes and controls.
• Profound expertise in US GAAP, operational finance, cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial controls, planning, forecasting, and executive performance management.
• Demonstrated capacity to advise executive leadership, constructively challenge assumptions, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Experience enhancing finance organizations, processes, controls, systems, and analytics in complex, fast-paced, or evolving environments.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Capability to operate both strategically and tactically, engaging directly in business challenges while developing scalable capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, balance competing demands, and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial planning tools, ERP systems, and data and reporting platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship.
• Familiarity with QAD or similar manufacturing ERP platforms is preferred.
• Experience in integrating acquired businesses and developing finance capabilities for new products, services, or adjacent markets is preferred.
• Experience in leading or significantly improving a sales and operations planning process is preferred.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams or shared-service organizations is preferred.
• Travel to key operations sites and other company locations will be required.
• Additional hours may be necessary for this exempt position.
• Normal office environment; sedentary work including prolonged sitting and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force.
