SAP Support Consultant – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main contact for customers requiring support with SAP applications, particularly in Finance.

• Receive, evaluate, and manage support requests and incident reports through the ticketing system.

• Ensure consistent and high-quality operational support for customers on a daily basis regarding SAP.

• Examine incidents, change requests, and error messages related to financial processes.

• Reproduce, investigate, and effectively resolve errors in customer systems.

• Collaborate closely with internal subject-matter experts and SAP to address complex issues.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of solutions, workarounds, known issues, and process guidelines.

• Provide assistance for and support related to neighboring SAP modules within the support team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in (business) information systems, business administration, finance, or equivalent training, along with a solid grasp of business processes.

• Several years of experience in SAP Finance, preferably with a focus on SAP S/4HANA or S/4HANA Cloud.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end finance processes, including configuration in the FI, CO, and AA modules, as well as ideally related modules such as SD, MM, and PP.

• Experience in SAP application support and familiarity with ticketing tools.

• An analytical, solution-oriented, and customer-centric approach.

• An independent, organized, and dependable work style.

• A team player who is resilient and enthusiastic about operational support and customer engagement.

• Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
