This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Engage in the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Evaluate client business needs and convert them into payroll system solutions.
• Set up and provide support for SAP ECP functionalities tailored to client specifications and industry best practices.
• Aid in design workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and reviews of business processes.
• Create documentation for functional specifications, configuration workbooks, solution designs, and testing outcomes.
• Offer suggestions for enhancing payroll processes and optimizing the system.
• Configure wage types, regulations, payroll calculations, schemas, and payroll processing components.
• Assist with unit, integration, parallel, and user acceptance testing.
• Diagnose payroll calculation discrepancies, configuration issues, and system-related payroll errors.
• Facilitate payroll data validation, reconciliation, and reporting tasks.
• Participate in system rollouts and provide post-production assistance.
• Ensure payroll solutions comply with business requirements and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with client payroll, HR, Finance, and IT teams throughout project phases.
• Deliver functional guidance and support concerning payroll system capabilities and industry best practices.
• Assist in resolving issues and support escalations related to SAP payroll functionalities.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and end-user training for clients as needed.
• Support integrations involving Employee Central Payroll, Benefits, Time Management, General Ledger, banking, tax providers, and third-party applications.
• Assist with data conversion, payroll migration, and payroll transformation initiatives.
• Stay updated on payroll regulations and assess compliance-related needs.
• Identify automation opportunities and process improvements utilizing SAP capabilities.
• Remain informed about SAP SuccessFactors Payroll releases, innovations, and best practices.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and the development of practice initiatives.
• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience with SAP Payroll or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
• Experience in supporting payroll system implementations, enhancements, or ongoing managed services.
• Hands-on experience with payroll configuration, processing, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of payroll concepts including taxes, deductions, retroactive processing, off-cycle payrolls, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective functional solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in client-facing consulting.
• Capacity to handle multiple assignments in a dynamic consulting environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Certification is preferred.
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Certification is preferred.
• Experience in a consulting, professional services, or systems integrator environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with U.S. payroll and multi-state payroll requirements is preferred.
• Experience with payroll integrations and interface design is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Employee Central, Time Management, Compensation, and related SuccessFactors modules is preferred.
• Experience in multi-country payroll environments is preferred.
• Participation in payroll migrations or payroll transformation projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and integration technologies is preferred.
• Experience in supporting managed payroll services organizations is preferred.
