SAP Security Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assume complete responsibility for the technical aspects, user management, and authorization management within SAP systems, particularly SAP ECC.

• Develop, adjust, and sustain SAP security roles to align with changing business needs.

• Lead initiatives focused on resolving Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts.

• Convert business and functional requirements into secure, compliant technical designs for SAP roles.

• Maintain a high standard of compliance.

• Assist in the Change Management Process throughout SAP environments.

• Support end-user Acceptance Testing (UAT) along with Integration testing.

• Conduct technical validation of customized transactions.

• Provide daily technical assistance and troubleshoot intricate SAP security issues.

• Address problems related to approval processes and compliance verifications.

• Oversee routine operational tasks.

• Manage customer interactions autonomously.

• Serve as a functional leader and mentor for junior consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of direct, proven experience in SAP Security and SAP GRC in an SAP ECC setting.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP role design methodologies, authorization principles, and user management.

• Hands-on experience in identifying, analyzing, and addressing Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts.

• Strong capability to engage with customers directly, translate their requirements into technical security measures, and guide junior team members.

• Flexibility to work in shifts as needed.

• Availability to assist customers during off-hours for urgent issues.

• Proficient in Oral English.

• Proficient in Spanish.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA security is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in SAP Security or GRC are advantageous.
