SAP Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and provide support for SAP Security across both production and non-production environments.

• Oversee security controls, access governance, and resolution of issues.

• Design and maintain intricate authorization frameworks, role architecture, composite/single roles, organizational levels, and access models.

• Manage Segregation of Duties (SoD), conduct access risk assessments, periodic access reviews, and ensure compliance with audit requirements and controls.

• Assist with SAP GRC Access Control, covering Access Risk Analysis, Access Request Management, Business Role Management, and Emergency Access Management/Firefighter.

• Provide security support for SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and HANA environments.

• Lead the resolution of complex authorization and security challenges through root-cause analysis and effective remediation.

• Define and enforce SAP Security standards, policies, procedures, and governance protocols.

• Lead or coordinate SAP Security implementations, upgrades, migrations, role redesigns, and security remediation projects.

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, GRC, Audit, Infrastructure, Functional teams, Business stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Offer technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to members of the SAP Security team.

• Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for SAP Security issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security and Authorization management within complex enterprise SAP landscapes.

• Significant experience in owning and supporting SAP Security across both Production and non-Production environments.

• Advanced understanding of SAP roles, profiles, authorizations, and role design, including PFCG, SU01/SU10, SU53, SUIM, and authorization tracing.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and maintaining sophisticated authorization frameworks, including role architecture, composite/single roles, organizational levels, and access models.

• Strong expertise in Segregation of Duties (SoD), access risk analysis, periodic access reviews, and compliance controls.

• Practical experience with SAP GRC Access Control, including Access Risk Analysis, Access Request Management, Business Role Management, and Emergency Access Management/Firefighter.

• Experience in supporting security for SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, and HANA environments.

• Capability to lead the resolution of complex authorization and security issues through root-cause analysis and effective remediation.

• Experience in defining and enforcing SAP Security standards, policies, procedures, and governance processes.

• Ability to lead or coordinate SAP Security initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, migrations, role redesigns, and security remediation projects.

• Experience collaborating directly with Cybersecurity, GRC, Audit, Infrastructure, Functional teams, Business stakeholders, and external vendors.

• Ability to provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to other SAP Security team members.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP security best practices, risk management, compliance, and privileged/emergency access controls.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to function as a technical SME and escalation point for SAP Security matters.

• Proficiency in conversational English and Spanish is essential (evaluated during the hiring process).

• Foreign nationals residing in Mexico must possess a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC.

• Candidates must be located in Mexico.

• A valid visa to work in Mexico is required.
