This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Coordinate the delivery of Motorola Solutions’ cybersecurity services for designated customers in New York City.
• Supervise network security operations in partnership with the Security Operation Center and Threat Intelligence Team.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers and NYC agency Network Security Teams.
• Develop, monitor, and update release plans for security enhancements.
• Create procedures, schedule, and manage Motorola Solutions security patches.
• Create procedures, schedule, and manage third-party software patches for Microsoft, Linux, Aviat, and Nokia systems.
• Assess the impact of security updates and patches on existing hardware.
• Oversee firewall and logging server configuration.
• Discover network vulnerabilities and unusual activity.
• Conduct advanced behavioral analytics for internal data theft and exfiltration.
• Keep the Customer Hub portal updated with the latest security-related information.
• Collaborate with the Field Service Operations Manager when security-related resources are necessary.
• Create monthly security reports and engage with customer Network Security representatives.
• Maintain and enforce the MSI/Customer Security Escalation Process.
• Work together with the System Manager on daily operations.
• Lead or facilitate Secure Design Reviews and Threat Assessments.
• Assist in Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies.
• Support processes and activities related to cybersecurity Incident Response and Crisis Management.
• Monitor industry trends in cybersecurity and technology, integrating them into the organization.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a services environment, demonstrating an understanding of service operations and customer support principles.
• At least 3 years of program management experience, including direct interaction with customers.
• Over 3 years of experience in LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, Radio Frequency, Motorola equipment, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, IT Systems, Telecommunications, Cyber Security, Security Support, Public Safety, Engineering, Networking equipment, or Military experience.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including security patching, monitoring activities, and threat intelligence concepts.
• Experience conducting Secure Design Reviews and Threat Assessments.
• Proven experience in supporting Risk Assessment and Mitigation Strategies.
• Background in vulnerability reporting and response communications.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity Incident Response and Crisis Management Processes/Activities.
• Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with customer Network Security teams and internal cybersecurity organizations.
• Experience working directly with end-user customers.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to non-technical audiences.
• Capability to present confidently and persuasively to both internal and external customers.
• Must obtain Network+ and Security+ certifications within the first year of employment.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer sponsorship for work permits is not available.
• Must be able to secure background clearance as required by government customers.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to the 5 boroughs of New York City.
• Local travel is required, with travel percentage expected to be under 25% (less than 10% also acceptable).
