SAP Basis, Security Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee SAP Basis and SAP Security/Authorization within enterprise SAP environments.

• Ensure the stability of SAP Production environments through monitoring, troubleshooting, performance management, availability management, and incident resolution.

• Handle SAP system administration tasks, including transports, RFCs, kernel updates, patches, system refreshes, and technical configurations.

• Administer SAP users, roles, profiles, authorizations, and access issues utilizing tools such as PFCG, SU01/SU10, SU53, and SUIM.

• Develop and maintain SAP Security controls, implement Segregation of Duties, conduct access reviews, and meet audit/compliance requirements.

• Diagnose and resolve technical Basis and authorization/security problems across SAP landscapes.

• Manage changes and transports between Development, QA, and Production environments.

• Work in collaboration with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, GRC, Functional, and Business teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP Security/Authorization management within enterprise SAP environments.

• Proven experience in supporting SAP Production environments, emphasizing monitoring, troubleshooting, performance, system availability, and incident resolution.

• Strong foundational knowledge of SAP system administration, including transports, RFCs, kernel updates, patches, system refreshes, and technical configurations.

• Practical experience with SAP users, roles, profiles, authorizations, and access troubleshooting, particularly with PFCG, SU01/SU10, SU53, and SUIM.

• Familiarity with SAP Security controls, Segregation of Duties (SoD), access reviews, and meeting audit/compliance requirements.

• Experience working in SAP HANA and/or S/4HANA environments.

• Competence in troubleshooting technical Basis issues and authorization/security problems across SAP landscapes.

• Background in collaborating with Development, QA, and Production environments, along with managing changes/transports.

• Solid understanding of SAP security best practices, access controls, and production support processes.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, GRC, Functional, and Business teams.

• Proficient conversational skills in English and Spanish are essential; proficiency will be assessed.

• Foreign nationals residing in Mexico must possess a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC.

• Applicants must be based in Mexico and possess the legal right to work in the country.
