SAP Security Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Protect SAP environments and ensure adherence to organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and established security standards.

• Design, implement, sustain, and enhance SAP security roles and authorizations.

• Oversee security across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform, and related SAP environments.

• Manage and refine SAP GRC Access Control to facilitate regulatory compliance and risk management.

• Configure and maintain security frameworks for SAP Fiori and SAP BTP.

• Integrate identity management solutions with SAP applications and system landscapes.

• Monitor SAP applications and environments for security vulnerabilities, issues, and unauthorized access.

• Diagnose and resolve SAP security, role, authorization, and access-control problems.

• Conduct regular security audits, access reviews, and compliance evaluations.

• Identify security threats and propose suitable corrective or mitigating measures.

• Develop, document, implement, and enforce SAP security policies, procedures, and best practices.

• Collaborate with functional, technical, cybersecurity, audit, and business teams to ensure secure system deployments and upgrades.

• Provide SAP security advice throughout system implementation, enhancement, and maintenance activities.

• Stay informed about evolving SAP security capabilities, industry trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.

• Prepare and maintain security documentation, audit evidence, and access-control records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to obtain a Federal Secret security clearance (Active clearance preferred).

• Over 12 years of overall SAP experience.

• At least 10 years of focused SAP Security experience.

• Practical experience with SAP GRC Access Control.

• Experience in designing and managing security for SAP S/4HANA.

• Experience in configuring and supporting SAP Fiori security.

• Experience in configuring and supporting SAP Business Technology Platform security.

• Experience in integrating identity management solutions with SAP environments.

• Strong knowledge of SAP authorization concepts, role design, and security architecture.

• Experience with SAP audit, compliance, and risk management tools.

• Experience in conducting security audits and access reviews.

• Ability to troubleshoot intricate SAP security, access, and authorization challenges.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with technical and business teams.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting regulatory compliance and risk-mitigation initiatives.

• Preferred: Experience in collaborating with cybersecurity, internal audit, functional, and technical teams.

• Preferred: Knowledge of current SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats.

• Preferred: Strong skills in security documentation and audit-evidence management.
