SAP SD Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate business requirements and convert them into scalable SAP SD functional solutions.

• Configure and assist with the SAP Sales and Distribution modules encompassing Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Shipping, Pricing, Output Management, and Returns Processing.

• Oversee end-to-end implementation and enhancement projects related to Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.

• Set up customer master data, material master integration, sales organizations, distribution channels, divisions, shipping points, plants, and sales areas.

• Design and establish pricing procedures, condition techniques, tax determination, rebates, discounts, freight, and promotional pricing.

• Configure copy controls, item categories, schedule line categories, incompletion procedures, and document flows.

• Work in collaboration with ABAP developers to create functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, BADIs, User Exits, and IDOCs.

• Assist with SAP S/4HANA migration, system upgrades, and business transformation projects.

• Integrate SAP SD with MM, FI/CO, PP, WM, EWM, TM, GTS, CRM, and external third-party applications.

• Create functional documentation such as Business Process Documents (BPDs), Functional Specifications (FS), Configuration Documents, and Test Scripts.

• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, production deployments, and hypercare activities.

• Diagnose production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide ongoing production support.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies, solution design workshops, and architecture review sessions.

• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield implementations, global OTC standardization, advanced pricing and revenue management, Salesforce and eCommerce integration, EWM/TM integration, EDI modernization, SAP Fiori rollout, workflow automation, and cloud-based SAP integrations utilizing SAP BTP and Integration Suite.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of direct SAP SD consulting experience in enterprise SAP environments.

• Deep expertise in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution configuration.

• In-depth knowledge of Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.

• Practical experience in configuring Sales Orders, Deliveries, Billing, Returns, Credit Management, Output Determination, and Shipping processes.

• Strong background in configuring pricing procedures, condition techniques, access sequences, pricing routines, taxes, rebates, and discounts.

• Experience with customer master, material master, business partner configuration, and partner determination.

• Solid understanding of copy controls, item categories, schedule line categories, route determination, shipping determination, and transportation scheduling.

• Experience integrating SAP SD with MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, TM, CRM, and other SAP modules.

• Experience in preparing Functional Specifications for ABAP developments, including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).

• Familiarity with IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, EDI, and middleware integration technologies.

• Experience supporting SAP interfaces with Salesforce, E-commerce platforms, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and third-party logistics providers.

• Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, ChaRM, SAP Fiori, and SAP GUI.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and business process optimization skills.

• Experience working within Agile Scrum or SAP Activate implementation methodologies.

• Participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Fiori Apps, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Integration Suite is preferred.

• Knowledge of Advanced ATP (aATP), Variant Configuration (VC), and SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) is preferred.

• Knowledge of SAP Transportation Management (TM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is preferred.

• Experience supporting multinational organizations with global sales operations is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP Revenue Accounting, Intercompany Sales, Cross-Company Sales, and International Trade processes is preferred.

• Experience integrating SAP with Salesforce, MuleSoft, Boomi, or other enterprise integration platforms is preferred.

• SAP Certified Application Associate or SAP Certified Professional certification in SAP SD or SAP S/4HANA Sales is highly desirable.

• Experience supporting highly regulated industries is preferred.

• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and reporting solutions is a plus.
