SAP PO/CI Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, test, and implement integration flows (iFlows) utilizing SAP Process Orchestration (PO) and SAP Cloud Integration (CI).

• Establish and maintain adapters, message mappings, routing, and transformation logic across both SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Facilitate real-time and asynchronous integration scenarios that connect business processes from start to finish.

• Oversee, diagnose, and resolve incidents within productive integration environments.

• Evaluate existing SAP PO interfaces and convert them into their SAP Cloud Integration / Integration Suite counterparts.

• Actively participate in the migration backlog from PO to CI.

• Assist with API management and hybrid integration configurations.

• Document interfaces and develop reusable integration components and standards.

• Serve as a technical liaison among business stakeholders, IT operations, and Integration teams in Nürnberg and Cluj-Napoca.

• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for incidents related to integration.

• Mentor colleagues in developing integration/CI skills.

• Implement integration governance standards, naming conventions, and best practices.

• Identify opportunities to streamline and modernize current interfaces.

• Contribute to enhancing LEONI’s Data & Integration capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience with SAP PO / Process Orchestration and/or SAP Cloud Integration (SAP CI / SAP Integration Suite).

• Hands-on knowledge of iFlow design, message mapping, adapters, and monitoring.

• Familiarity with API management concepts and hybrid integration scenarios combining on-premise and cloud solutions.

• Fluent in German, both spoken and written, at a business level.

• Proficient working knowledge of English.

• Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.

• Capability to translate business needs into technical integration solutions.

• Experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite and cloud-native integration patterns.

• Basic understanding of ABAP / interface development, or experience with SAP Data Services / ETL.

• Background in an automotive, manufacturing, or other complex multi-system enterprise environments.

• SAP Integration Suite or related SAP certification.
