This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the subject matter expert for post-go-live support of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
• Spearhead hypercare initiatives following the implementation of SAP EWM.
• Manage the EWM support workstream for designated clients, which includes ticket prioritization, monitoring service level performance, and providing status updates.
• Address complex, high-impact, and cross-module support issues while leading root cause analysis for critical incidents.
• Offer technical leadership, coaching, and mentorship to EWM Support Consultants I, II, and III.
• Design and supervise the configuration of enhancements and permanent solutions, collaborating with development teams on custom implementations.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvements to enhance system stability.
• Develop and refine support procedures, troubleshooting standards, and EWM documentation.
• Train users on EWM workflows, business processes, and reporting metrics; conduct training sessions for end users and client staff.
• Work closely with client leadership, development teams, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Manage software updates and security patches.
• Travel up to 25-50% to client locations for onsite go-live and hypercare support.
• Engage in quality assurance activities while safeguarding sensitive information in accordance with security policies.
• Execute other related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field, along with 5-7 years of relevant experience, which includes hands-on SAP EWM configuration and troubleshooting; OR 7-10 years of relevant experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• Educational background or experience in logistics, distribution, Management Information Systems (MIS), IT, or a related area.
• SAP EWM certification is mandatory; if not currently certified, must achieve certification within 6 months of employment.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP logistics modules and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members and client users.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple support tickets concurrently and effectively prioritizing urgent issues.
• Clear and professional communication skills, with the capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to system configuration and issue resolution.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
• Preferred: Experience with multiple full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementations, including embedded or decentralized EWM on S/4HANA.
• Preferred: Familiarity with advanced EWM features such as Material Flow System (MFS), labor management, or yard management.
• Preferred: Proficiency in reading and debugging ABAP code.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies.
