Senior SAP ECC S4 HANA FICO SME

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive design, detailed configuration, and implementation of complex SAP ECC FICO and S/4HANA Finance, RAR, Intercompany, and Group Reporting initiatives.

• Convert business strategies, programs, and projects into organized SAP business process flows.

• Act as the functional/technical lead and Finance business process expert for SAP projects.

• Direct Finance compliance efforts and foster the creation of successful New Business Models alongside Finance sub-functions, Tax, and cross-functional teams.

• Manage FICO tasks for enterprise-level projects, including M&A integrations and transformation initiatives, focusing on Q2C processes, tracking, and program management.

• Collect requirements and prototype solution designs across FI, CO, MM, SD, and PS modules.

• Collaborate with IT to represent Finance stakeholders and integrate Finance, compliance, operations, Tax, Global Trade, and FP&A requirements.

• Lead data migration, cutover planning, and system testing during ECC-to-S/4 transitions.

• Address complex system and process design challenges while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory compliance.

• Guide junior team members and steer project teams through delivery and the project lifecycle.

• Engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities and develop SAP solutions that meet business objectives, strategies, and KPIs.

• Oversee Group Reporting and facilitate the transition from Oracle EPM to S/4HANA Group Reporting when necessary.

• Formulate transition strategies and integrate Group Reporting with S/4HANA, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori Apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Over 12 years of experience in SAP FICO (both ECC and S/4HANA).

• Extensive techno-functional knowledge in at least 2-3 Finance sub-functions such as Intercompany, RAR, and FA.

• SAP certifications in S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud are preferred.

• Hands-on, proven experience with SAP FICO and S/4HANA.

• Experience with SAP Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud is highly desirable.

• Preferred experience in upgrading from Oracle EPM Suite to SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Strong grasp of end-to-end processes across Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.

• Experience leading global implementations and managing multi-geo teams.

• In-depth functional and technical knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO modules.

• Group Reporting experience, including consolidation processes, legal and management consolidation, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, data models, Data Monitor, Consolidation Monitor, and ownership tasks, is highly preferred.

• Strong skills in financial data interpretation and consolidation troubleshooting.

• Proven experience leading S/4HANA implementations and upgrades, particularly in Group Reporting and finance transformation.

• Exceptional communication, project management, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience with third-party integrations is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.

• Occasional travel may be required.
