SAP Planon L2 Support Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Manage tickets escalated from Level 1 support.

• Analyze, replicate, and resolve incidents within established service level agreements (SLAs).

• Address Planon configuration challenges involving business objects, fields, layouts, workflows, authorizations, and reports.

• Provide support for Planon mobile applications, including user access, synchronization issues, device settings, and application configuration.

• Manage service requests and minor modifications such as field alterations, new report generation, and workflow updates.

• Investigate data-related issues using SQL and rectify master data when necessary.

• Oversee interfaces and integrations, including REST/web services, file imports, single sign-on (SSO), and the C4A data feed.

• Report product defects to Planon support (Level 3) with detailed reproduction steps and follow up accordingly.

• Assist in release and upgrade cycles through regression testing and impact assessments on custom configurations.

• Maintain the knowledge base, runbooks, and records of known errors.

• Train and provide support for key users.

• Participate in problem management and root-cause analysis efforts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Planon in support, configuration, or implementation roles.

• Familiarity with multiple Planon Universe and Facility Services Business Solution modules.

• Strong understanding of facility management processes, including hard facility management (Hard-FM), soft services, space management, and contracts.

• Experience in an application management services (AMS) or service desk environment, handling tickets, SLAs, priorities, and ITIL processes.

• Proficient SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting purposes.

• Basic knowledge of integrations, including REST/web services, file interfaces, and SSO.

• Structured problem-solving abilities and clear written documentation for ticketing.

• Proficient in English (B2+ level).

• Proficiency in German is a plus.

• Planon certification is advantageous.

• Experience on the service-provider side of facility management is beneficial.

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Qlik is a plus.

• Experience with other IWMS/CAFM/EAM tools like IBM Maximo, SAP PM/RE-FX, Archibus, or TRIRIGA is desirable.
