SAP MDG Developer, 4+ Years

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and understand master data requirements and challenges.

• Design, configure, and deploy SAP MDG solutions across customer, vendor, material, and finance master data domains.

• Tailor SAP MDG functionalities, including data modeling, validation rules, and workflow configurations to meet business needs.

• Conduct assessments of data quality and formulate strategies to enhance the accuracy and quality of master data.

• Execute system and integration testing, as well as support user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Offer training and support to end-users regarding SAP MDG functionalities and processes.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to SAP MDG configurations, interfaces, and integrations.

• Keep abreast of the latest SAP MDG advancements, best practices, and industry trends.

• Work in conjunction with data governance, IT, and business operations teams to ensure SAP MDG solutions align with business objectives.

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining master data management processes and optimizing SAP MDG capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Over 3 years of experience with SAP MDG, encompassing implementation, configuration, and support.

• Comprehensive understanding of master data management concepts, principles, and best practices.

• Practical experience with SAP MDG modules including data modeling, data replication, data validation, and workflow management.

• Expertise in integrating SAP MDG with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA) and third-party systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• SAP MDG certification(s) are preferred.
