SAP Integration Functional Lead – Pharma

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functional integration processes among SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and various third-party enterprise applications.

• Collect, evaluate, and convert business requirements into functional integration specifications and solution designs.

• Ensure that SAP integration solutions are consistent with end-to-end business processes spanning multiple SAP modules.

• Manage functional integration efforts between SAP and systems such as MES, LIMS, WMS, CRM, and other business applications.

• Partner with SAP functional consultants, integration developers, solution architects, and business stakeholders.

• Establish business process flows, data mapping, interface dependencies, and functional integration needs.

• Facilitate functional workshops to uncover integration necessities, process shortcomings, and potential enhancements.

• Assist in SAP implementation, migration, transformation, and global rollout initiatives.

• Organize integration testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect resolution, and validation of business processes.

• Ensure that integration solutions comply with pharmaceutical industry standards, including GxP regulations.

• Offer functional support and resolve cross-system integration challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP functional consulting, SAP integration, or functional leadership roles.

• In-depth functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC.

• Demonstrated experience in leading functional integration activities across SAP modules and non-SAP enterprise systems.

• Strong grasp of end-to-end business processes and cross-functional SAP integration.

• Experience in gathering business requirements, crafting functional specifications, and overseeing solution delivery.

• Familiarity with SAP integration concepts, such as IDocs, APIs, interfaces, and data flows, from a functional viewpoint.

• Proven experience integrating SAP with enterprise applications like MES, LIMS, WMS, or comparable systems.

• Background in regulated pharmaceutical environments (GxP).

• Experience in supporting large-scale SAP implementations, transformations, or global rollouts.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional coordination abilities.

• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
